Our Vision & MISSION

Jesus should impact every area of our lives! Therefore, Grace Mesa follows the biblical model of vision and discipleship, according to Matthew 28:19-20

Disciples Making Disciples!

KNOW Christ!

The goal is not to merely know more about Christ. It is to know Christ personally and in an increasingly intimate manner.

GROW in His Word!

In order to be more than an acquaintance or "fan" of Christ, we need to know Him by His Word, what He teaches us. Maturity and intimacy are not achieved by simply loading information into our memory. Understanding what Christ's Word means and trusting Him enough to adhere to His Word is necessary Learning and doing through trust is how we mature.

GO in His Power!

We should not be different at home or work than we are at church. Our family, friends and world need to see evidence of Christ in us. We should boldy demonstrate Christ through our lives wherever we go, through whatever circumstances we face. Believe Him and let Him live His life through us!

Our Beliefs & Values

We are a congregation that believes in our need for community in order to know and grow in our love for each other through our
KNOWing, GROWing and GOing.

Gospel Community

We are committed to being a loving, Christ-centered community that shares the Good News of Jesus with our family members, neighbors, and peers. (Acts 2:42; 1 Peter 3:15)

Biblical Teaching

We are committed to transforming lives toward Christian maturity through Biblical, Christ-centered teaching. (2 Timothy 2:1-2)

Passionate Worship

We are committed to recognizing God’s preeminence in our lives through passionate individual and community worship. (Hebrews 13:15-16)

Leaders at Grace

Scripture emphasizes the specific character and qualities that we should look for in our leaders. At Grace Church we choose our leadership, with prayer and under the guidance of His Word. We are thankful for the godly men that God has brought to serve here at Grace.

Pastors are selected by the congregation based on meeting the biblical qualifications of an Elder, who is called of God, gifted by Christ Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit to be a Shepherd /Teacher (Ephesians 4:11) to "Shepherd (feed) the flock of God among you" (1 Peter 5:2) by "preaching the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:27), "equipping the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ," (Eph. 4:12) while guarding himself and all the flock (Acts 20:28). He serves as "an example to the flock." (1 Peter 5:3).

Elders are elected members of Grace Church who meet the scriptural requirements as recorded in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4, and Acts 20:28. The Elders together with the Senior Pastor, form the Elder Council, the leadership body at Grace Church.

Grace Church has three elected officer positions as declared by its governing documents: Church Chairman, Recording Secretary and Treasurer.
