Language has changed over time; therefore, the meanings of words haven’t remained constant. Thus, GOD used symbols and depictions in Scripture, especially in His prophecies about what He was planning for the future. Despite the language changes, GOD is consistent and there is precedent in Scripture that will give clarity on what each symbol means because that doesn’t change, no matter what century you are reading it. Furthermore, when you look at Scripture closely, you can see how GOD organizes things, what His pattern and methods are and how consistent they are. Taught by Jeannie Brown.
